After a series of successful classes with The Sunshinery last year, I believe I’ve come up with a good formula for the workshops, something that works for most people, whether you are beginner or not, and that is fun. Throughout the class, you'll receive step-by-step guidance, mastering all the stitches and knots necessary to embroider the final product offered at the end of the session. I designed each tutorial to empower you to embroider independently and enjoy the process. I strongly believe in making learning fun, and to add a touch of conviviality, there will be a bottle or two of wine on the table.

The rates for group workshops begin at $99 per person, covering all expenses, including drinks and appetizers. Dates will be announced and you’ll just need to secure your seat in advance.

For private workshops, the fee is $150 per person, with a minimum of four participants and a maximum of ten. The price covers all necessary supplies and offers a personalized approach tailored to your preferences. You also enjoy the flexibility to choose the date and time that suits you. The venue adds an extra layer of excitement, as these sessions will take place in a charming brownstone on the Upper West Side.

Please note that all deposits are non-refundable. I find that to be necessary as supplies, drinks, and goods are arranged well in advance for the event. However, if something unexpected prevent you from attending the workshop you booked (I understand life happens) I would be happy to find other date that works for you.

Some workshops have additional cost, often due to the customization of the class to meet your preferences. Venues might change and incur extra charges, depending on the specific workshop. The three-day workshops are also longer and therefore more costly.

Probably the most popular workshop of the past year, so popular in fact, that we added more dates. This is a group workshop that takes place at The Sunshinery (Upper West Side, Manhattan), and all you have to do is secure your seat by making a reservation.

Being French and having always loved wine, it was only natural for me to combine the joy of embroidery with the pleasure of sipping a glass or two. Is there anything special you need to bring to the workshop? My response is simple: just bring a big smile, and we'll take care of everything else. No experience needed— I will guide you step by step, so even if you’ve never embroidered before.

Cost of participation: start at $99/person

Over the years of residing on the Upper West Side, I have been fortunate enough to meet incredible people. When my neighbors Rayda and Erin told me about the launch of the Arts for Peace program at their International Student Center Youth, it became an evidence to me that this would be the ideal venue to host my private embroidery workshops.

Private workshops require a minimum of four participants and a maximum of ten. The price covers all necessary supplies and offers a personalized approach tailored to your preferences. You also enjoy the flexibility to choose the date and time that suits you.

Ideal for team-building, bachelorette party, babyshower, birthday and friends gathering.

Cost of participation: $150/person
